Casino tournaments on GoWild : how does it work ?
New Customers Only | Commercial content | 18+
GoWild Casino makes registering for their casino tournaments a relatively quick and easy process. You will have to have an account first, which you can register for using the main website. Once you are done that, click “Join Now” on the tournament of your choice from the selections “Open Tournaments” or “In Play Tournaments”.
If you have the casino software, you log into the casino lobby and click on Games View. Next, click the tournaments tab, where you can see the options for :
- “Open Tournaments”
- “In Play Tournaments”
- “Scheduled Tournaments”
- “Complete Tournaments”
As you would for the website, you will want to pick from the “In Play” or “Open” tournaments.
What is nice about the casino is that if you are an existing account holder, you will find that customized slot tournaments are available, which are based on how you have been playing in the casino previously. For example, using information about your casino habits, preferences, and expectations, GoWild will offer you custom menus, which suit your current profile. For players who want to get in and get going to a slot tournament, this takes the guesswork out of navigating the list, and offers choices which are relevant to you, the player.
Once in the tournaments menu, there are choices regarding the GoWild tournaments versus the Network tournaments. You can check the tournaments schedule in order to pick your favorite. There are free tournaments as well as paid tournaments. In paid ones, you will need to pay an entry fee or have an invitation to join. Free tournaments seem like an obvious choice, but depending upon your comfort level; those with entry fees generally have a higher jackpot in proportion with the entry fee price.
Scheduled ones are those games which start at a fixed time. Some of them are invite only, and they can be played “Guaranteed” and or “Freeroll.” Guaranteed means you will need to pay an entry fee, and Freeroll can be played without an entry fee (some of them are depending on a Go Wild promo code). All tournaments scheduled require a minimum number of players before they can begin, and if you watch the website, you can find out what prizes are awarded for the tournament before it begins. There will also be information about the opening of the registration period.
In play tournaments are those games which are already in progress. You can click “Join Now” and start playing any time as long as the registration period for the tournament is still open. The open tournaments can be joined and are open for players. These start soon but have not yet started when they are showing this status.
Sit ‘n Go are less formally structured. Anyone can register and play, and they will only begin when the minimum number of players have registered – whether that is right away or in a few hours. As soon as the tournament ends the winners are displayed.
Tournaments which are not open to play are Practice Play Mode – you will need to be in the Real Money play mode. You also cannot use your bonuses in order to enter.
